My mom makes this with ground beef, but you can easily substitute with ground turkey!  So easy, but tasty!  I bet you had no idea you can add fish sauce to eggs, did you?

Mom's Ground Beef with Eggs and Rice

Easy weeknight meal for sure.

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 10 large eggs
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp sugar
  • cooked rice


  1. Cook rice in rice cooker or stove top if you don't any leftover rice

  2. In frying pan, add oil and then garlic and onion.

  3. Cook until onion is soft.

  4. Cook ground meat with oyster sauce

  5. In bowl, beat the eggs with fish sauce

  6. Add egg mixture to pan and stir the eggs into the meat 

  7. Season with salt and sugar to taste

Add steamed broccoli or carrots as a side
